Home Theater - 10

May 23rd.  The speaker grills are assembled and temporarily installed.  The display lights are set to bright white.  It’s coming together nicely.

Closer detail on the speaker grills.  By painting the speaker cavities black, it ensures that you will not be able to see the black speakers that are behind the grill.

Yes, the room is a wreck.  Hey, we have kids (2 years and 5 years old), it happens.  None were harmed in the making of this contraption.

Unfortunately, (and fortunately), I also needed to build some “wide surround” speakers.  These will be in the far corners of the room and provide surround fill.  So I got started building them.  Since these will be visible, I had to make them nice.  I chose to use some reconstituted veneer.  Here, it is setting up.
